Classroom Experince
Mr. Schuler's 11th Grade
American History at Liberty High School
- This was my first experince in the school system not as
a student. I was able to interact with a variety of
students in the role of an educator.
Mr. Dow's 9th Grade
World Studies Class at The Moravian Academy
- In this field experince, I was given the oportunity
to work with a group of gifted eighth graders as they
explored World War II, Europe's geography and the
Vietman War. I was also able to share my love of
music with this class by teaching a lesson about
popular music during the 1960s and 70s.
Mrs. Calvo's Reading Support Class at
Freedom High School
- In my third field experince, I worked one-on-one
with students who had individual IEPs. These
students and I worked together on imporving
reading and writting skills as well as
comprehension. I was also able to work hands
on with the Read 180 Scholastic curriculum.
I have also
worked as a volunteer asstant teacher for the
Lehigh Vally Summerbridge during their after
school program at East Hills Middle School.
I worked with a group of middle schoolers on
homework and learning drama and acting
techniques.
