Hello! My name is Megan Zoch and I am currently a senior at Moravian College. However, my time here is about to end as I am going to graduate in May 2013. I am an English major who is also out to obtain a teaching certificate in Elementary Education.

Throughout my years here at Moravian I have done a lot of volunteer work. A majority of my time was spent at the Bethlehem Area Public Library (the Main and South Side branches) working with a program called America Reads and Counts. At the library, I would help students from grades 1-8 with their homework and also tutor them so that they were able to understand content that they were struggling with in class. It was a very fulfilling experience and I am happy to have been with them for 2 years.

My passion for English and, more specifically, reading has been apparent not only in my tutoring practices, but also in the activities that I do on campus. At Moravian, I am the co-president of the Harry Potter Society. Harry Potter Society is a chartered club that holds meetings once a week to discuss, debate, and have fun with the beloved series written by J.K. Rowling. Though Harry Potter Society is a great club which hosts a lot of fun activities, we also do volunteer work with the English Honor Society. Occasionally, we will meet up with the honor society at the Bethlehem Area Public Library and read books to the children in the youth section.
