Guidelines: Prepare an interpretation of a Grimm folktale: 2-3 pages, typed (double-spaced). Due 9/18.
  Comment on a representation of one of the Olympians. Due 10/9.
  The class will be divided into 7 panels, each responsible for a book of Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Prepare a paper on an assigned myth from Ovid and participate in a panel leading a class discussion of the book. Assignments TBA. Panel dates are given below.
  Prepare a research paper discussing a subject related to classical myths. Your topic may be a myth or group of myths, a character or figure (e.g. step-mother) or relationship that recurs in myths, the representation of a myth in art, or the appearance of a myth in modern dress.
