Fog, Hail, Snow and Sleet
The image (above) will be my only image of a fog. Shown here is the side of the foothill behind my home. Fogs are not very common here in the Phoenix, Arizona, metropolitan area.
This photograph (below), taken from my front driveway, shows Superstition Mountain covered with snow, which is an unusual event here in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
The telephoto view of the previous scene is beautiful. Notice the light dusting of snow on the rooftops in the foreground.
An unusual snowfall right here in Gold Canyon. There was no accumulation on the ground of our back yard, but the occasion was beautiful.
Another storm, but a lesser one, but a beautiful result. The view is taken from my front driveway.
My home with the street and driveway covered with a thin layer of sleet.
This is a view down the street in front of our home.
This is a closer view of the sleet from the previous image.
Anybody interested in swimming?

In the fall of 2018 a large isolated thunderstornm passed over our community and dumped hail that was of a sufficient size to dent the surfaces of all or most of the cars that were parked in driveways or along the roads. Fortunately for us, our car was in the garage at the time. The storm continued beyond and traveled northward toward the Superstition Mountain. I show the progression of the storm here.
