Assignment #1 is to present arguments for and against stem cell research; it's due at the beginning of class on Friday, September 11th.
Assignment #2 is to find two examples, online or elsewhere, describing the process of mitosis or meiosis. Evaluate the quality of each source (i.e. how trustworthy do you think it is? Why?), describe which of the two is better, and explain your reasoning for that determination. This assignment is due at the beginning of class on Monday, September 14th.
Assignment #3 is to investigate survival of the flu virus and bacteria on hard surfaces; it's due at the beginning of class on Monday, September 21st.
