This site is written in XHTML 1.0 Strict, and is CSS-compliant. Unfortunately, not all web browsers are able to correctly (or adequately) render this. I've tested these pages under a number of system/browser combinations with the following results (though if you're getting a different result with one of them, please do let me know):
Mac OS 10.4.9 (Tiger)
Most modern browsers do a fine job rendering the site:
- Camino v. 1.5
- Firefox v. 2.0.0.4
- Flock v. 0.7.14
- Mozilla v. 1.7.13
- Navigator v. 9.0.b1
- OmniWeb v. 5.5.4
- Opera 9.21
- Safari v. 2.0.4
- SeaMonkey v. 1.12
- Shiira v. 2.0
- Sunrise v. 1.0.6
- Xyle scope v. 1.1.8
The sole exception I've found is iCab v. 3.0.3 — the content box is positioned too far down the page, but at least it's usable.
Windows XP (Professional)
- Internet Explorer v. 6.0 — messes up posititioning of the content box and navigation tabs, and uses the wrong fonts, but will function.
- Firefox v. 2.0.0.4 — the fonts are still wrong, and the content box is a bit lower than I intend, but it's otherwise usable (and better than Explorer's rendering).
