||Moravian College Alumni Association
||5.4 linear feet
||The Moravian College Alumni Association was first organized in 1884 to further the interests of the college and theological seminary and to promote fellowship between students and graduates. Its counterpart, the Alumnae Association of the Moravian Seminary for Young Women was formed in 1890. The two organizations were united in 1956 in support of the coeducational merger. The Alumni Association fosters communication between members and their Alma Mater through a variety of activities including annual reunions, Homecoming, and Founders Day. Additionally, the association encourages career-networking opportunities for students and recognition for academic excellence and leadership through awards and publications. The association also promotes the formation of regional clubs and life-long learning opportunities for alumni in the form of speakers and educational trips.
