If you're interested in a career teaching science in high school, you need to major in the appropriate science as well as pursue certification in Secondary Education. Because you won't take any Education courses until you are a sophomore, you should simply follow the first-year recommendations for your intended academic major. The only thing to be aware of is that you should not take an M3 course as a freshman, as this LinC requirement will be fulfilled by EDUC160.
