Note the depth of field is uniform throughout the picture.  The picture was made directly on photographic paper, so the original appeared as a mirror-image negative print.  The negative print is shown as a positive print in this view, but is still mirror-reversed in orientation.  The exposure is about 6 minutes long, so I started the exposure, walked to the porch and sat without moving for about 5 minutes, and then walked back to the camera to finish the exposure
