Stereoscopic Photographic Pair
Pair of Photographs for Stereoscopic Viewing
These two 1/30 second exposures at f/16 on Plus-X film were made by photographing common objects on the tile floor of the Earth Science laboratory directly beneath the camera tripod. The tripod was moved between the taking of the two pictures. If viewed through a stereoscope, the objects on the photographs will appear in three dimensions. Such photographs are called a "stereo pair."
